Variation of a PASeq preset i posted on the Studio Artist User Forum yesterday. The vertical step gradient is generated with a MSG preset. The colorization is generated with the Flat Region Colorize ip op effect.

Threw together a PASeq preset for the user forum that displacement modulates a vertical step gradient. This is a variation on that effect, where the individual flat gray gradient step strips were colorized.

What's cool about dynamic regionization is that you don't need to use multiple passes with different brush sizes to pull together a final painting. It's all just from a single AutoPaint step.
