Dual Sided Bezier Coloring

Playing around with 2-sided coloring for bezier drawing.  Using it along with a hybrid geodesic fill here.  I'm using the paint synthesizer brush load module to build the paint part of the effect.

More Vectorizer Geodesic Fill Ideas

Working with the Sparse Interpolator here to proto some Vectorizer hybrid fill approaches. An interesting question is whether we can modify the Sparse Interpolator effect to work off of geodesic distance as opposed to Euclidian distance like it does now.

Resolution Independent Vectorizer Hybrid Fills

Proof of concept animation sketch for a new hybrid raster/vector Studio Artist Vectorizer fill option.

Shadow Mask Painter

Test of a live video matte piped into the selection buffer painter (using a source movie file, but the implementation is the same).

Pose Detector Transmutation

More experiments with subverting pose detection.

Exercise for the viewer.  How was i able to pull off the dispersive drip and other enhancement of above without the recursion blowing up due to excessive feedback?

Eagle Eye

Fright Night

Transition Context feeding the Studio Artist source area.  The ever evolving source is painted with time particles as well as subjected to a dissipative rotational warp.

Line em Up

20 random images from a protest theme folder auto-configured into a Transition Context feeding the Studio Artist Source area with a slightly modified init configuration Vectorizer preset.  The slight change is the new Smooth Loose Wobble region effect.

Protest March T2

Another experiment with slow evolution of the Gallery Show source imagery as well as the generative paint in Studio Artist. I figured out a trick to use for the GS End Cycle processing to get a tight rendition of the automatic selection masking when using vector paint (normally that is hard to do with certain kind sof vector paint).

I'm using a swap buffer to pull it off (2nd layer when working in V5.5). You can't use the Style for this kind of thing when working with Gallery Show, since the Style reloads esch GS cycle.

Climate March T1

I'm experimenting with continuously evolving generative ai painting of a continuously evolving thematic source. So both the paint and the source imagery are slowly evolving and changing over time.

Time Warper

Quench

Added something i have wanted for awhile in Studio Artist pre_V6, which is a cycle hold option for the gallery show source.

ViewPoint

Reworking all of the gallery show preferences in development pre_V6 Studio Artist.  Now that V5.5.5 is released we can open the flood gates to gallery show enhancement in the pre_V6 builds.  The source options are way more flexible now.

Reaction - Diffusion Symmetry Breaking

Reaction-Diffusion Variant

Adding 'Flat Color Regionize' IpOp colorization into the reaction -diffusion Turing pattern MSG experiment.

Using the Style as a swap buffer to keep around the recursive reaction-diffusion texturing.  The first one colorizes it and then feeds that back into the recursive process.  Very different outcome.

By working with the style swap buffer feedback Mix (I'm using Fixed Image IpOp in the first PASeq action step to do it) you can incorporate both worlds.

Using the Flow algorithm in a Transition Context to 5X time expand the last one.

Turing Pattern Experiments

Using a simple MSG preset to build dynamic Turing patterns (reaction - diffusion) in Studio Artist.

Playing around with VGG based deep learning neural net pose detection in Studio Artist preV6.

Radiowave

Studio Artist V5.5.5 generated procedural MSG animation for the first audio track Radiowave on the Xenon Light Annihilation cd.  That cd release is from an old music project i was involved in made in the 90s.  Xenon Light music will soon be available on bandcamp.  Very 90's industrial music kind of feel.  This track is very ambient, but most of the cd kicks butt.

Bezier Cellular Automata - used to build a trailing video processing effect

Quick demo showing off how to build the bezier cellular automata idea into a paint animation.

Bezier Cellular Automata - proof of concept

Built a Paint Action Sequence (PASeq) in Studio Artist to demonstrate how one could build a bezier cellular automata.  I can't claim credit for the idea (since one of my beta testers suggested it), but i will claim credit for the naming of the concept (until told otherwise, ha,ha). Like all ideas, someone else probably thought of it.

Fluid Motion

Dropping some new MSG processors into Studio Artist on the road to V6.

diletTante

Software development for apple computers sucks more and more with every new os and xcode release they vomit out into the world. A particularly tragic situation since they seem to do well on the hardware design side.  But developing software for apple computers is like entering some Kafka nightmare vision.

CircumVision

Meanwhile, the endless Studio Artist V5.5.5 final build automated testing continues.  The new factory preset collection gets locked down at midnight tonight.  Final installers get built tomorrow.

a Glitch in the Matrix

Squashing gallery show generative ai paint mutation bugs is like living in a glitch in the matrix.  Almost there (i keep saying that).
