Jones Art Hotel

Video panorama taken in the courtyard of the Jones Art Hotel in Hobart Tasmania. This started with a 360 degree pan using a Flip video camera. That was then processed into a static panorama image using the Studio Artist 4 scantracker, which is one of the temporal image operations.

The Jones Art Hotel is an excellent example of taking an old industrial building and repurposing it for modern times. They also serve the best breakfast in Hobart.

MSG Fractal Sunrise

Kind of reminded me of a sunrise shot or a photo taken of a plane window of the sun on the horizon. It's a procedural image generated by directed evolution of MSG processors in Studio Artist 4.

MSG Facial Variations 4

Another image from a series of MSG preset processed abstractions of the same facial source image. The original face is most recognizable in this one. The whole series was generated using MSG evolution in Studio Artist 4.

Another MSG facial abstraction created in Studio Artist 4. All of the images in this series were made from the same source image of a face. There's really an infinite variety of different effect styles you can create using Studio Artist's MSG modular image processing architecture to build source image processing effects.

I thought i'd post a few examples of different MSG presets processing the same facial image over the next few days. This one is pretty abstract, but interesting. It reminds me of colored pencil rubbings on paper placed over a textured surface.
