flat tone patterns
I got inspired by the woodcut experiments and decided to try and put together a paint synthesizer approach for flat tone pattern fills using the paint synthesizer background texture. These are all still images from paint animation runs.

Image Background Texture -EBM experiment
It's interesting to just use one image for the background texture with the new EBM photo mosaic/collage features. You couldn't really do this before, unless you were willing to break up the image into a bunch of small sub tiles. Super easy now.
