Tears of Grief
This started with an auto photo collage image generated using the new image folder brush source. i was working off of a ruins image database i've been building up. I then composited a MSG preset generated via inspire evolution in the Evolution Editor. I'm using a lum colorspace and a Min composite for the MSG effect. So it's all done with a single layer. but the MSG processing adds a lot of additional atmosphere. the MSG preset is processing the original source image, not the canvas. And the source image was generated via some initial processing in Studio Artist.

City of the Future

More stack filtering processing of 'ruins porn' imagery.
This whole 'ruins porn' series got me thinking of how to try and visually score WMF's 'Bombay Garbage Truck' track from the Sodaigomi cd. So i've been slowly building up a set of appropriate imagery for stack filtering experiments. More on that ongoing project in the future.

Terminal Station

The decaying train station to nowhere. More 'ruins porn' imagery from the work i've been doing trying to come up with some visual score ideas for one of Tom Dimuzio's upcoming cds. Based on stack filtering vectorizer processed sets of 'ruins porn' imagery.

SweatShop

This fell out of some ruins porn stack filtering experiments, with a real loose definition of the ruins porn imagery concept that includes a bunch of urban industrial chaos photos in the movie brush as opposed to just derelict buildings. So maybe it should be in the urban chaos porn genre? Or the chinese future genre? Or maybe it's just a picture of our world as it is today.
