Time smear of some video taken while walking down the sidewalk in Lahania. It's kind of a cool approach, you end up with this static photo of an extended walk through an area that captures some of the visual energy of what you experienced during the forward movement through the environment.

Prophecy

Extreme time smear of a slow video pan of some local madness. Setup the controls up so it's doing the stutter thing.

Most tourists driving through Paia are actually unaware that a really nice beach lies behind the charming town facade. This is a 180 frame time smear shot taken by processing fixed video footage through the Studio Artist Temporal Difference Matte.

If you tweak the Studio Artist scan tracker settings the right way you can get a time stutter effect going, which is always fun. Generated from video taken out the window of a moving car in Makawao.

Time Smear

Time smear effect created by processing video taken out the side window of a moving car while passing the 'temple of peace'. The Studio Artist 4 temporal scan tracker 2 was used to create the effect. I once watched a fist fight take place in front of the 'temple of peace', but that's another story.

Paia Time Smear

Another time smear shot. This started with source video footage taken out the side window of a moving car in Paia. I setup the Studio Artist 4 temporal scan tracker to process the moving video footage into a static photo. I reversed the scan direction from the movement of the car to generate this particular time smear effect.

Hookipa Windsurfing 2

Another temporal smear shot of wind surfers at Hookipa. This started with video footage taken out the side window of a moving car. I then used the temporal scan tracker in Studio Artist 4 to process the moving video footage to generate a static time smear image. I purposely setup the scan direction to be the opposite of the car movement to get this particular time smear effect.
