Quick shot at a woodcut effect using an isometric grid vectorizer embed in the paint synthesizer. I'm using an adaptive background texture as the brush load source with the local regions being driven by the vectorizer embed.

attractor reactor woodcut
Trying out a vector paint woodcut idea using a new time particle interaction feature (via injection channel modulation in the paint synthesizer). I'm modulating the path drawing based on angle modulation to the closest time particle at the current path point.Quick paint animation to show off what the time particle interaction modulation i mentioned is doing.

Quentin Woodcut
Vector woodcut effect based on a paint synthesizer anti-alias solid brush type preset. It's all built with vector ellipse paint nibs. I've been rediscovering the simple ellipse recently, much more versatile then you might expect. The key is using the paint synth to adaptively muck with the basic ellipse shape.

BW Woodcut Print 2

More woodcut print effects. This one looks a little more realistic than some of the recent color posts which would have required multiple blocks to do a real physical print. But still done in a way that can generate vector file output. It's pretty easy to build something like this, and you can output as EPS or SVG graphics in addition to the normal raster file output options.
