Baldwin Slit Scan
Slit scan image generated from video footage taken out the window of a moving car in Paia while driving across the Baldwin intersection.

Kailua Pork
Another Studio Artist tempoal scan tracker experiment. I alway shoot video sequences out of a moving car with a pocket video camera when we're driving around to use as source material for different temporal processing experiments.
Depending on the directions people and the car and the scan tracker aperture movement are moving in you can extend or contract object movement (you can see both effects going on in this image). Plus it helps document all kinds of different Hawaiian localisms and oddities you run into on a daily basis.

V-Power
Another Studio Artist scan tracker experiment working with converting video footage into a static image. This time i'm messing with the scan direction and aperture to screw around with reality (as opposed to yesterday's post which builds a normal panorama image). So it ends up being more of a freezing movement over a limited period for time image.

MSG Directed Evolution Work 3
All of the recent directed evolution experiments with MSG presets are using the same simple processor configuration setups used in my recent swap tutorials. What's cool about mSG is that you can create an unlimited variety of different kinds of abstract procedural imagery, as well as source or video processing effect.

Paia Pizza
Slitscan of the back room of Flatbread Pizza in Paia. The slitscan panorama was generated from a pocket video pan using the temporal Scan Tracker in Studio Artist 4.
Flatbread Pizza is really awesome. They make their own nitrate free free range organic pepperoni, it's the only pepperoni pizza i've ever had that isn't greasy.

MSG Patterning
Procedural image generated in a directed evolution session in the Studio Artist 4 Evolution Editor. A little additional post processing to add the waver effect. These are all from some work i've been doing recently for different MSG Editing tutorials on the Studio Artist daily effects blog.

City of the Future
More stack filtering processing of 'ruins porn' imagery.
This whole 'ruins porn' series got me thinking of how to try and visually score WMF's 'Bombay Garbage Truck' track from the Sodaigomi cd. So i've been slowly building up a set of appropriate imagery for stack filtering experiments. More on that ongoing project in the future.
