Modulated Step Gradient
Threw together a PASeq preset for the user forum that displacement modulates a vertical step gradient. This is a variation on that effect, where the individual flat gray gradient step strips were colorized.

Dynamic Regionization 4
Another image grabbed during testing of the new gallery show dynamic regionization feature options. The image falls out of a single auto-paint pass. i was mutating variations off of a single paint preset for this test.

Gallery Show Regionization Testing
Grabbed this during some gallery show testing. You can now mutate different path start regionization presets on the fly during the gallery show cycles.

Dynamic Regionization 2
Another test image generated while working on some of the new dynamic paint regionization options in Gallery Show. What's cool about dynamic regionization is that you don't need to use multiple passes with different brush sizes to pull together a final painting. It's all just from a single AutoPaint step. Gallery Show is automatically mutating new paint presets in the style working off of random source images.

Gallery Show Process
One of the ways i like to work with Studio Artist's gallery show features, is to allow paint to build up on a canvas over several gallery show cycles, using different random source images for each cycle.

Gallery Show Ip Op Test
Working on some new vector output features for various image operation effects. Gallery Show is great to do random parameter testing on modified ip op effects to make sure there aren't any hidden problems. This was grabbed during one of these gallery show current ip op mutation tests.

Rectangular Abstraction Style
My attempt at trying to cop the look of a Closon abstraction style, in reply to a recent discussion on the eStudio Artist user forum. The Rank Edge image operation effect is the key to the look of this (nested rectangular framing).

Tightening Up Paint Stroke Positioning
Working with some new features in the Studio Artist paint synthesizer that can be used to tighten up an auto-painted source image rendition. For those cases where you do want that kind of effect, it's nice to have some new controls you can use to help dial in tightness.

Oil Paint Feature Refinements
Working on a lot of new paint synthesizer features to improve the positional accuracy of intelligent auto-painted paint strokes. Some user requests for improved oil paint features that very accurately reproduce source details is what originally pushed me in this recent development direction. Lot's of cool new stuff is being added to the paint synthesizer for the next Studio Artist release.

Yet Another Oil Paint Test
More tests of the new Studio Artist oil paint features. I was searching for some real high brow source material for these tests, ha, ha. You can build these presets using either multi-pen mode, or some new background texture options that simulate spread out bristles. And they are all using the new improved path divergence features. Which used to live in the Path End control panel, but i moved them to Path Angle since that's where they really belong conceptually.

Gallery Show Mutation
Grabbed this during a gallery show test run. It's based on mutating factory presets in sequence along with the 'surprise me' auto-masking feature.

PanoArt Shared Preset
Generated this with a shared preset from the Studio Artist User Forum preset sharing group. Based on a series of Stroke Mosaic effects stored as paint action steps in a PASeq.
