Xing of the 1%
Some fun with interactive warp. Plus some new detail rendition paint features in the paint synthesizer.

Scribble Hatch 2
More experiments using path start regionization to build up a scribbled hatching pattern. I started this with a randomized hue vectorizer underpainting to make the overall sketch more interesting.

Scribble Hatch
Working on using path start regionize in the paint synth to build up scribble hatch patterning to rough in a painting.

Paint Bubbles
More testing of new paint synthesizer features. This was generated with multiple passes of a partially transparent paint using a new adaptive brush size modulator.

Astroland
More work with new detail rendition features in the paint synthesizer. The source photo is from Coney Island and was taken after the first New York City summer MacWorld where Studio Artist was first introduced. This was generated using a single auto-paint pass.

Lothar
Working on some new features for the paint synthesizer associated with tightening up paintings. This was generated with a single auto-paint pass with no masking.

ColorBurst
Another procedural art image generated by working with directed evolution of MSG processors in Studio Artist's evolution editor.

Forbidden Gate
Combination of some MSG procedural imagery generation along with a multi-octave gradient lighting effect.

Sketch Stylization 4
Sketch stylization effect. Generated in the paint synthesizer using an image operation effect to build the sketch patterning paths. Vector paint as well.

Sketch Stylization 3
More experiments with adding new Studio Artist features for sketch stylization. This time output directly from the paint synthesizer using vector paint.

Hidden Valley
Procedural image generated with Studio Artist MSG processors. Working with some image to height processors and some directed evolution in the evolution editor.

Masked Viewpoint
Facial abstraction generated using a MSG preset generated via directed evolution in the Studio Artist evolution editor.

Extrusion 3
More experiments with new image to height processors in Studio Artist MSG. Note that the Geisha image is embedded into the height field. It's z depth modulating a procedural texture generator.

Extrusion
Adding some new features to the Image to Height MSG processor. Procedural image generated using Studio Artist's MSG (modular synthesized graphics) features.

Mountain View
Working on some new MSG effect options. Procedural image based on gradient mapping a turbulence noise height field.

Recursive Roots 2
Abstract procedural image generated using MSG processors. I'm working with recursive IO routing as well.

Makena Slitscan
Slitscan generated from a 180 degree video pan taken at the end of the road south of Makena. Slitscan was generated using Studio Artist temporal image operation effect.

BW Abstraction
Black and white hard contrast abstraction. Using the Rank Edge Filter image operation effect in Studio Artist 4.

Better Living 3
Another automatic photo collage experiment. Partial overlay on top of a watercolor paint preset. I guess a study in perception based on positive and negative space since there is nothing mapping the photo collage images to the source coloring for their respective spatial locations.
