Spiritual Journey
Having some fun with zen text. Trying to rework some of the existing text brush code to clean it up as well as add some new features.

Hand Tool
Simple approach to using a movie brush. Max Path Length set to 1 so each paint stroke lays down a single nib of paint. Movie brush for the Brush Source. RGB Color mapping for the movie brush indexing. Then let it rip with auto paint.

The Pitch
Some deconstruction of realism via structure analysis. Feeling the need to delve into more abstraction styles lately, probably in response to all of the paint realism posts on the users forum recently.

Mechanical
I guess this could be considered another symmetry experiment. It's interesting how often that creeps into design. Maybe because the brain is so good at detecting it.
Kind of a cold, mechanical procedural art style. Like everything on this blog, it was generated using Studio Artist. Specifically MSG processors for this particular image.

Sun Dial
MSG stacked pattern. By stacked, i mean more than 1 MSG processor designed to overlay. So you can think of it like patterns generated with built in alpha stacked on top of each other. But no need to waste memory using multiple layers to do this, you just stack the processors in the MSG processor chain, where they all use the same 3 image streams for input and output..

Stacked Patterns 2
Another stacked pattern experiment. The stacking occurs by using multiple MSG processors that overlay patterns. A series of overlay processors in the processor chain of the MSG Editor creates a series of stacked patterns in the output image from the MSG preset.

Subway Platform
Testing some improvements to the paint synthesizer randomization and mutation code. With a new macro-edit command that forces generation of mutated vector paint presets.

Creep
Working with vector paint splatter blobs in the paint synthesizer. I swept the color error range (high to low) for blob clip across the auto-paint time to dial in some feature structure.
