ReThink Color Gradient Mapping
Let's approach the whole concept of color gradient mapping in a completely different way by using geodesic flow derived off of vectors.First one was prototyped using V5.5 features in a long PASeq. I added some new feature options to the old standby Color Gradient Map IpOp effect so that you can just do it directly there now in a single action step.

Added denoising options to the Color Gradient Map IpOp effect. Hue mapped a 9 index random palette into the source color gradient and then use the source image hue for index mapping.

Fixed the color pass through issue with IpOp embedded bezier path start generator in paint synthesizer.Using an IpOp screening effect that color palette maps as one of its options. The color effect output of the IpOp effect can now be used properly as the paint synthesizer coloring if the path color pass-through is turned on in Paint Color Source control panel.

Hand Drawn Auto-KeyFrame Test
Adding some new features to take hand drawn sketches and convert them into self-animating keyframe animation. Drawing with the mouse does suck, but trying to use it as a feature in this particular example.

One of my beta testers asked how to do this kind of thing. Repetitive patterning based on a recursive geometric transformation. I'm using a rotational warp, but you could use other approaches like angle modulation associated with the path shape generation in the paint synthesizer.
