Bluxom Series2

More images from my new photo mosaic experiments. These were all created using the Studio Artist paint synthesizer with a graffiti movie brush. The bottom one was created from a live video shot off of an internal iSight camera.

Bluxom Series1

I've been exploring new ways to work with photo mosaic style imagery in Studio Artist. This series was generated with graffiti databases where the graffiti images are randomly chosen and then colorized to match the sub area they are positioned in. The vectorizer outline technique is used to insert a stylized source outline into the image. I really like the look of these, the stylized vectorizer output almost appears to be part of the graffiti itself. Very different feel than a conventional photo mosiac image.

Tacolicous

Yes the tacolicous truck is 'da bomb'. I'm debating whether to try it since it's right next to the curry truck that put me down for a week with food poisoning. Subsection of a scan tracker video panorama. The shot below was taken walking around the side of the truck.

Pacific Sun

This was taken in Honolulu harbor near the fish market. It started with a Flip video pan that was then converted into a static panorama image with the Studio Artist temporal scan tracker.

Boat Scan

I've been moving back to working with a complete frame slit scan recently after avoiding it for a long period of time. This started with Flip video taken out the side window of the car while driving next to the water near Honolulu chinatown.
