More Security Graffiti

There's something about Hank as a source that works so well for these graffiti experiments. Both in terms of his iconic expressions and movements as well as the graffiti imagery tying into the real world archetype of where the sources are referring to.

More Paint Variations

These were generated while experimenting with the Paint Color Source modulation options in the Studio Artist paint synthesizer. I added a few new ones to complete the large set already available there.

Painted Face Variations

These were generated via the new Studio Artist gallery show features, using the new option that randomly mutates paint presets while running the gallery show.

More Generator Experiments

Some more experiments adding new features to the Generator MSG processors. One thing that has become apparent to me running these experiments is that sometimes you are better off limiting the range of potential parameter mutation by locking certain parameters. This way you can limit the search space in the directed evolution to subsections of potential interest.

Extending the Generator

I've been adding some new features to the Generator MSG processors. These processors are great for creating abstract procedural images with a geometric character.

I added some more twisted algorithm variants to the base equations for the super ellipse MSG processor.

Super Ellipse Experiments

I added a new MSG processor i've been playing around with that implements the super ellipse. Of course the first thing i did was start to muck around to with the equations, which to be honest generates more interesting effects i think than the real 'formula to define all shapes in nature'. These are all created with MSG processors in Studio Artist.
