This started with an abstract MSG procedural image. It was then processed with a few interactions of a full screen Studio Artist paint synthesizer fractal mapping effect. It reminds me of an integrated circuit chip layout.

Grid Overlay

Truchet grid overlay on top of some additional MSG madness. Created via directed evolution in the Studio Artist 4 evolution editor.

Traffic Flow

Temporal smear generated from some video footage take while driving through Paia in the late afternoon. I used the Studio Artist 4 temporal difference matte to process a video sequence into a static image that smears time.

Skateboarder in Paia shot with a pocket video camera. The video footage was processed with the Scan Tracker 2 in Studio Artist 4 using smart seam interpolation to generate the static time stretch image.
