Facial Image StackFilter 2

Another stack filtering experiment. I'm using the original stack of facial images as a source movie for a temporal difference image processing effect in Studio Artist 4. Stack filtering refers to processing a stack of images with temporal video processing effects. You encode the stack of images as frames in a movie file and then load that as a source movie into Studio Artist.

West Maui View

View of west Maui taken on the Hana Highway while headed to the airport to head back home to Oahu. I started with video footage taken out the front window of the moving car, then processed that with the Studio Artist temporal scan tracker. I'm using a vertical scan direction for this effect.

Experiment using temporal image operations in Studio Artist 4 to stack filter a set of facial images encoded as frames in a source movie file. Using the temporal difference matte for this one.

Generative Paint Animation

Still frame from an experiment using Studio Artist's dualmode paint animation features to create generative paint animations. By 'generative' i mean you start the preset and then let it autodraw to create the animation over time. I've been forcing myself to create a new animation experiment every day to get a better handle on what kind of new abstract animation features should be added to Studio Artist in the future. Cafe Prana Nui

The food's pretty good if you like vegetarian macrobiotic stuff. Located in the back of the Haiku Cannery parking lot. I used the Studio Artist vectorizer to process a video still frame image for this.
