Demolition Man
More automatic photo collage experiments in Studio Artist. Using path start regionization and region fill as pen brush mode to build the paint preset.

Inquisition Man
More tests of the new image folder brush source features in Studio Artist. I guess this style of image mapping should really be called photo collage as opposed to photo mosaic, although they are very closely related. The shape of the destination mapping for the sub images is the only real difference.

Photo Mosaic Test 3
Another test of the new image folder brush source feature for Studio Artist. Using Watershed Regionize DM path start generator. With Region Fill as Brush pen mode. That combo of paint synthesizer features allows you to build the feature based regionization and irregular shaped photo mosaic image buildup. I'm just working off of a random set of news images, and auto-colorizing them on the fly as they are painted.

Photo Mosaic Test 2
Another photo mosaic test using the new image folder brush source feature. Got the region fill as brush pen mode part of it working now. Using that along with a watershed regionize path start generator. We've also been beefing up the path start regionize feature options quite a bit.

New Image Brush Features
Started work on some new image brush features for the paint synthesizer. People want to use multiple images but maintain the aspect ratios, which is not the case if you use a movie brush. Need less to say, this is requiring a little code tweaking, since the paint synthesizer assumes a standard max size image with the rest of the brush cache and brush load buffers derived off of that fixed size. Currently a work in progress. Image above is just a stupid test using the new brush source mode.
