Side Door
Thought the original photo was amusing. The painted image was generated during some gallery show testing in Studio Artist 4.

Facial Abstractions
These 2 images are very different but are related in that they are both abstractions of facial imagery. The first was generated from an edited variation of a preset posted recently on the Studio Artist User Forum. The second one was generated while testing some of Dennis Miller's DualMode Paint presets, again with a custom edited preset variation.

Mexican Food
The best mexican place on Oahu (in my opinion). Plus outdoor dining on the water, what an alien concept to Hawaii. There are probably more restaurants with outdoor seating on the upper west side of Manhattan then in all of Hawaii.
The image is a Flip camera video pan processed with the Studio Artist temporal scan tracker into a static panorama image.

Vectorizer Region Effects
I recently posted a tutorial on generating Studio Artist Vectorizer region effects that fill the complete canvas as opposed to the normal partial fill you get from stylized vector shapes. This is another heavily abstracted example created with this kind of approach.

Morph Tutorials
Working on some new v4 morph tutorials for the Studio Artist Tips site. How you construct a morph is somewhat different in v4 since you use PASeq Morph Contexts to generate a morph.

Apollonian Packing Variations
Some new experiments mixing apollonian packing and TSP optimization in multiple stream channels to build MSG presets that generate abstract procedural imagery. The apollonian packing and the TSp optimization work together to generate an interesting pseudo-crystalline structure to the resulting textures.
I'm using the forceColorMap processor as the last step in the preset to color map the generated abstract texture field to an evolved color palette.
