Shadows as Structure
Adaptive Block regionization with a solid black cast shadow generated by using repeated path applications and associated modulators to generate the cast shadow. The shadows ends up looking pretty structured with this kind of rectangular repetitive structuring. It's interesting, because if you have irregular shaded regions they look raised with this kind of paint preset, but not when they are structured this way.
