Playing around with a new shape layout feature in the Vectorizer. I then embedded the shape technique vectorizer preset in the paint synthesizer to have more control over the associated vector shadowing in the experiments above. Taking a look at isometric artwork (which i wasn't really very familiar with) after my recent exposure to all things isometric in the latest issue of Digital Art Live magazine is giving me some ideas for new Studio Artist features that support that kind of world view.
