This kind of reminds me of the evil silicon valley CEO Nick Offerman in Devs, which is a great sci-fi series now showing on Fx / Hulu. As Devs creator Alex Garland says, "we're not detached from the underlying reality of our existence." Boy that sure rings true in a different way these days.
