Working off of a single source image in Gallery Show. Using the Mutate Current Factory Technique with the Preset Browser set to a specific Category of paint presets. I'm working with Craig Deeley's custom Studio Artist paint presets that were designed for manual painting in this piece (watercolor presets here). Random source masks are generated by GS for each paint pass. So the painted image slowly builds up in the canvas.
I then use multiple low Mix ip op effects to build in additional edge structure and positive-negative space. And i;'e been experimenting with something like a multi-octave compressor effect to finish it off.
